Hello, my name is Katelin.  I think rocks, fossils and shells are cool and that's why I made this website.  Well actually, my dad set it up, but I did the words and took the pictures. 

I have been collecting rocks, fossils and shells since I was 3 years old.  I'm 5 in this picture, that's when I went to my first rock and fossil collector's show.  Please enjoy my website.

This is me at the Delaware Mineralogical Society collector's show in front of the 'Junior Table' .  I won this stuffed dinosaur in a free raffle.

The 'Junior Table' is where you can find lots of cool rocks, fossils and shells that don't cost a lot of money.  Over the past three years, I have bought rocks, sharks teeth and animal bones there.  If you are a beginner or advanced collector, you should go to this show... because IT ROCKS!

Here I am looking for Sea Shells at the Ocean City, NJ Beach.  It's mostly clam shells and muscles, but if you look really hard, you can find lots of small spiral shells.

The best time to look for shells is early in the morning, especially after a big storm.  One year we found rays, horseshoe crabs, and jellyfish washed up on shore after a thunderstorm.
